• Enquiry details — your name, number of guests, length of stay, preferred dates and any message you send when you use our enquiry forms or contact us.
• Contact details — your phone number and email address when you call, email or message us on WhatsApp.
• Reservation and stay details — booking information, room preferences, arrival and departure dates, and details of any services you request.
• Identity documents — government-issued photo ID (such as a passport, Aadhaar or other ID) collected at check-in, as required by law for guests staying at the property.
• Spa and dining information — health, mobility or dietary information you choose to share so we can tailor treatments and meals safely.
• On-property security — CCTV footage from common areas, recorded for the safety and security of guests and staff.

2. How we use your information

We use your personal information to:

• respond to enquiries and confirm availability;
• process and manage your reservation and stay;
• provide the services you request, including dining, spa appointments and help planning local trips;
• meet legal, safety and record-keeping obligations that apply to hotels in India;
• improve our services and respond to feedback, questions and complaints.

3. Enquiries made through WhatsApp

Our website's enquiry and “Check availability” buttons open WhatsApp with a pre-filled message so you can send your request to us directly. When you do this, your message and phone number are processed by WhatsApp (Meta Platforms) under its own terms and privacy policy, and by us so we can reply. Please share only the information needed for your enquiry.

4. Cookies and third-party services

Our website does not use advertising or tracking cookies. Some pages include third-party services that may receive limited technical information (such as your IP address) to function:

• Google Maps — used to show our location on the Contact page.
• WhatsApp (Meta) — used for enquiries, as described above.

These services are governed by their own privacy policies.

5. Sharing your information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only where necessary — with trusted service providers who help us operate the retreat (for example, reservation and payment handling), with travel partners you ask us to coordinate with, and with authorities where required by law.

6. Data retention

We keep your information only for as long as needed to serve your enquiry or stay, and to meet legal, tax and safety requirements. CCTV footage is retained for a limited period and then deleted or overwritten in the normal course.

7. Security

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your personal information against loss, misuse and unauthorised access. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to safeguard the data in our care.

8. Your rights

Subject to applicable law, including the DPDP Act, you may ask us to:

• access the personal information we hold about you;
• correct or update information that is inaccurate;
• erase information where it is no longer needed and there is no legal reason to retain it;
• withdraw consent you have previously given.

9. Children's privacy

Our website is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information without the consent of a parent or guardian. Bookings that include children are made by the accompanying adult.
